Use of Google Analytics for Web Analytics

My website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies” (small text files stored on your device) to help me analyze how visitors interact with my website.

Information Collected and Processing

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is transmitted to and stored by Google. This information is pseudonymous: your browser is assigned a random identifier, but I cannot see who you are. Google Analytics collects all data from EU, Switzerland, or UK-based devices (based on IP-geo lookup) through domains and on servers based in the EU, Switzerland, or UK before forwarding traffic to Analytics servers for processing. Your IP address is used to derive your approximate location, but Google Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses from EU, Switzerland, or UK users. Google Analytics data is automatically deleted after 2 months. Google uses this information on my behalf to evaluate your website usage, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet usage. _ga_MVJ1XZYZHQ, .silvernode.io, /: Used to maintain session state. It has a default expiration period of 2 years.

I only load Google Analytics, and its cookies are only placed, if you give your explicit consent through the cookie consent banner. You can change your choice at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” at the bottom of my website’s home page. If you withdraw your consent, Google Analytics is stopped and its cookies are deleted. Alternatively, you can completely block Google Analytics tracking across all websites by downloading and installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Other Storage and Third Parties

Your cookie choice: My website remembers whether you accepted or denied Google Analytics in your browser’s local storage (analyticsConsent), so the cookie banner doesn’t reappear on every visit. This is strictly necessary to respect your choice, and does not require consent.
Lemon Squeezy: My website does not load anything from Lemon Squeezy until you click a “Buy License” or “Upgrade License” button. When you do, Lemon Squeezy’s checkout opens, which may use its own cookies needed to process your payment. See Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy for details.
Newsletter form: My website does not load anything from Brevo. Your email address is only sent to Brevo when you submit the newsletter form.
No other third parties: Apart from the above, my website does not load any resources (such as fonts or scripts) from third parties.
